The Day

Sometimes when I arrive to photograph the wedding day build up, it is hustle and bustle and sometimes emotional, this wedding was serene and peaceful and a beautifully calm feeling, waiting for Kimba and Kirk’s special moment.

They were married on 30th August, their wedding service took place at St Stephens Church and then on to at a very special venue Lympne Castle, I adore photographing there, it is amazing inside and out and as a recommended photographer I have had the privilege of photographing many weddings there for more of these click here

The Theme

The wedding had neutral tones throughout with Kimba wearing the most exquisite 1940’s style dress, all with the stunning backdrop of the castle.

Kimba didn’t have bridesmaid but was accompanied by her sister and her mum who had flown in from Austrailia.

If you read their engagement shoot blog  you will have seen that Kirk was not keen on having picture taken but on the big day he was very relaxed and the photographs were great.

The Reception

Drinks were served in front of what has got to be the best view in Kent! We took some romantic shots of Kimba and Kirk together before they were called for the wedding breakfast.

We left them to enjoy their meal and to dance the night away. We wish the couple a very happy life together Mr and Mrs Leyton …
