This family equine lifestyle shoot took place at Hughes Dressage at the beautiful Bishops Bridge Farm in Warwickshire.
This amazing couple, Rebecca and Gareth welcomed me to their home and business and we took some beautiful pictures of them and their daughter Ruby.
As soon as the arrangements were made I was very excited to meet them and this for anyone who does not know is why…
Rebecca has to date chosen, started and produced young horses every year through to the National Championships. Apart from huge success sourcing and competing the young horses, Rebecca has enjoyed many opportunities to represent Great Britain Internationally at Small Tour Level. Over the past 10 years Gareth has amassed more than 30 National and International Titles including International wins at Small Tour and Grand Prix, both in the UK and abroad.
He represented Great Britain at the Nations Cup in Rotterdam in 2012, was short listed for the 2011 European Championships and long listed for the London 2012 Olympic Games. The greatest accolade was to come when in 2013, Gareth was part of the Bronze Medal winning team at the FEI European Dressage Championships in Herning, capping off an already phenomenal year, where he was already the winner of two nation cup team competitions. Latest news from Hughes Dressage is the announcement that Gareth has been chosen for the World Equestrian Games 2014.
Most people know my love for equine photography, and it is a particular passion of mine to photograph dressage horses, they are great showmen, patience is the key and knowing that the horses ears must be in the correct position for a perfect photograph and getting the horse to stand in position is vital.
