The venue for the wedding breakafast and where Suzanne and the girls got ready for her July wedding to Aide was Frasers of Coldharbour. Suzanne and I have been friends for a number of years and as a fellow professional photographer, Suzanne knew what she wanted in terms of photography on her special day.
When I arrived Suzanne along with her Mum and Sister and her daughter and bridesmaids were all getting ready in the bridal suite in one of the Oast Houses, what I will always remember is the smell of the beautiful candle that was burning next to a bouquet of flowers and a photograph of her Dad who passed away a few years earlier.
My second photographer made her way to Appledore Church to capture photographs of Ade and Jacob, the couples son.
The wedding itself had only been in the planning for a few months, following Ade’s proposal to Suzanne earlier in the year and the one thing that Suzanne had in her mind was that she wanted to have a wedding reception that had all the details she could possibly think of!
The table was a long oblong table so that all her 40 guests could be seated at one table, the table was decorated with vases, glass bottles, jam jars etc all carefully collected with an arrangement of different flowers which along with Suzanne bouquet and the other flowers came from Eden the candles were from The White Company and the fragrance was Seychelles so the marque smelt absolutely divine.
All the place names were bound stems of Lavender with each persons name tied on and all the children had their own personally printed bag with a gift to keep them occupied during the meal as well as a children’s entertainer.
Here are just a few of my favourite images from the day.
