‘AN ENGLISH MANOR SET IN THE HEART OF THE KENT COUNTRYSIDE’
EASTWELL MANOR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I love to photograph weddings at Eastwell Manor, not only is it minutes from my studio and home! But is also a really lovely Manor House just moments from junction 9 of the M20 motorway.
I have photographed many weddings at Eastwell Manor from really small (just the bride and groom and the wedding co-ordinator to witness) to really grande affairs… I have also photographed in all seasons, including a wedding on Christmas Eve!
HELP AND ADVICE FOR PLANNING YOUR PERFECT DAY
Whatever season you plan to say ‘I do’, you won’t be disappointed, it’s a venue that looks great in the summer when the trees are full of leaves and the garden are in full bloom, or Easter when the whole gardens come alive with all the yellow daffodils or autumn when the leaves that cover the house turn a beautiful shade of red…
WHERE TO SAY ‘I DO’
Eastwell Manor offers couples the opportunity to get married both in the main house or in the walled garden, either option is beautiful and for most couples it depends on the time of year as to which they choose.
Whether you choose to get married in the house or in the garden, the one thing you will want to do is have photos in the gardens, they are stunning at any time of year or time of day, so I would encourage my couples to have some photos outside at some point during the day.
I always start with the group photos, I find it works best and avoids guests wandering off to check in if they are staying overnight at the hotel or disappearing to look around.
If you decide to say ‘I do’ in the Manor House then I will always take the largest group photograph first on the steps after this I will continue with the smaller requested photos until I am left with just the two of you.
However if you decide that an outdoor wedding is for you, then I will start with smaller family requested photos in the garden where the ceremony takes place to take advantage of the lovely setting, then the confetti, followed by the large group photo on the steps followed by photos of the two of you.
PHOTOS OF THE TWO OF YOU ALONE
There are lots of great places to take photographs of the two of you alone, favourites are always on the steps or in front of the fountain, so I always make sure that I get these iconic Eastwell Manor photos along with photos in other parts of the gardens and on the staircase inside the main house.
If you decide that you want a more rustic feel to your imagery there is the golf course and nearby fields with lovely long grass, or even the derelict church which is a short car drive away. All I ask is for just 30 minutes alone with the two of you on the day.
TIME WITH YOUR GUESTS
I always build into my timings for the day, time for you to spend with your family and friends ahead of the wedding breakfast, at this time we will capture more documentary-styled photography, the ones that you do not realise we were taking and also it is a good opportunity to go inside and take the photos of the wedding breakfast room with all the beautiful details that have made your day special.
OTHER PHOTOGRAPHIC OPPORTUNITIES
If I am still with you when it gets dark thenI highly recommend a photo outside on the steps with Eastwell Manor lit by window light.
Eastwell Manor offers accommodation in both the main house and also in the cottages by the Pavilion so your guests can stay and make a weekend of your special day.

From the natural storytelling images that captures those moments that you are not aware were being taken, through to intimate moments and close ups, she has been able to bring out the best in each photo.
Our album was the biggest dilemma so far, because how do you fit so many beautiful images into one album!
