EASTER WEDDING LEEDS CASTLE | LINDT BUNNY
I loved photographing the Easter Wedding Leeds Castle and I especially love a theme, so when Terese and Abhi tied the knot at Easter the theme was the Lindt Easter Bunny and to say that the venue looked stunning is an understatement.
With the majority of my weddings I get to know the couple long before the wedding, but I never actually met Terese and Abhi until their wedding day, so I really had no idea what to expect. The original enquiry came in via email and it was only after several weeks that I found out that the couple worked on a cruise ship and were planning their big day overtime they reached a port somewhere in the Caribbean sea!
They had decided to get married at Leeds Castle as that was where they went on one of their first dates and where Abhi later proposed to Terese.
The day whilst dry was very cold and very windy which made photographing Terese’s very long veil interesting to photograph!!
The ceremony took place inside of Maiden’s Tower in front of family and friends, some of whom had made the trip from India to share the couples day. Terese was given away by her Dad and her sister and friend were her bridesmaids. The ceremony was conducted by Kent County Council and the couple had one reading during the ceremony.
AFTER THE WEDDING
After the wedding, the couple were served drinks whilst the staff cleared away the chairs so that the smaller group photos could be taken inside as it was very cold and windy.
The larger group photo and the throwing of the bouquet were done on the main lawn outside the Leeds Castle.
Photos of the couple were taken at various locations around Leeds Castles grounds.
The theme for the wedding was Easter and incorporated pink, white and gold with every place setting had a Lindt Easter Bunny in front of it, which really added some glam to the table settings.
After dinner, it was time for some outdoor evening photos before the couple and their guests danced the night away.
Here are a few of my favourite images from the day.
