‘THE SECRETS OF THE BOUDOIR’
BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY FAQ
What should I bring with me for my boudoir photography session?
I recommend that you consider carefully the look that you want to have and buy lingerie, clothes and shoes to match this look. Bring with you as many different changes as you can.
Should I embark on an exercise or diet plan ahead of my shoot?
I think this is a matter of personal preference, however if you know you will feel happy with the overall results if you lost a few pounds or toned up then by all means do.
Is there anything else I should do to prepare for the shoot?
I would recommend that prior to the shoot that you do not wear a bra or thongs if you are considering a nude shoot as these leave lines and do not have a fake tan as these often show up badly on the photographs. I also recommend prior to your session that you have your both a manicure and a pedicure, eyelashes, waxing and moisturising.
How long will my boudoir photography shoot last?
The session will last between 3-4 hours and allows time for hair and makeup to be done at the studio.
Should I come with my hair and makeup done or can you recommend a makeup artist and hairdresser?
It depends on which package you select as to whether there is time allowed for hair and make-up to be done at my studio/home, however, I am happy to recommend several make-up artists and a hairdresser that I have worked with on many occasions.
Can I bring a friend with me for support?
Yes, many clients bring someone with them to their boudoir shoots for moral support.
‘I had a boudoir shoot done with Yvette after losing 3 stone in weight, I felt very self conscious and had very low self confidence.
That’s when I agreed to have the shoot and I’m so happy I did now as I loved every minute of it and felt fantastic.
The photos were absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend Yvette for a fabulous boudoir shoot’Thank-you so much Yvette!
