Autumn wedding | Cooling Castle
I recently photographed an Autumn Wedding Cooling Castle
Cooling Castle Barn Weddings are so popular that there is often a waiting list for at least a couple of years as it is always booked up so far in advance.
I love photographing weddings at Cooling Castle Barn and Amanda’s & Nick’s wedding was no exception. The ceremony itself was held in St James Church at Cooling Castle followed by a reception at Cooling Castle.
Nick and the boys walked to St James’s for the ceremony, whilst Amanda arrived in a vintage Rolls-Royce.
The Theme for the Day
The theme for the day was navy & burnt orange and was perfect for an autumn wedding, there were three flower girls who all wore ivory and carried baskets with burnt orange rose petals. Amanda’s dress was perfect for her with a beautiful fishtail and a long veil and Nick and the boys along with the adult bridesmaids all wore navy blue.
Cooling Castle as ever looked stunning with its fabulous light that makes any picture look fab and the cake is by far and away my favourite cake ever!! It was a naked cake and it just looked stunning.
Amanda is from South Africa so they incorporated many aspects of her homeland into the day.
As will as photography, Amanda and Nick also booked us for their cinematography on the day, it was important to them that the voices and audio from the day were preserved forever, so my team of trained videographers captured the day perfectly so that they can watch it over and over again for many years to come.
The album that they choose to preserve their precious memories was a Queensberry Matted album, which is made by hand in New Zealand
