It was another lovely summers day when the team photographed a wedding Little Silver Country Hotel, St Michael’s, near Tenterden. Little Silver Country Hotel which is a traditional, enchanting retreat, where you can relax in luxury, indulge yourself with fine food and drink, whilst enjoying the comfort of a homely and friendly atmosphere. Set in the Weald of Kent, in the heart of the Garden of England. Amy and James’s ceremony took place in the gazebo in the garden and was watched by family and friends.

The days preparations started off with Amy and her bridesmaids getting ready in the Platinum Suite with the help of Charmaine from Beautilicious Make-up who did all the bridal make up on the day, Amy’s dress was from Abigail’s Bridal and was by Ronald Joyce, the bridemaid’s wore Dessy and Amy Shoes were by Dune, the boys suits were also from Abigail’s.

The colour scheme for the day was pink and then Amy and James decided to introduce another colour and got the inspiration for the purple from a lampshade! The flowers came from the Flowercraft Workshop in Tenterden and James’s Mum made the cake.

After the ceremony guests were entertained by Chris Harding the Magician, as well as a man who cut out silhouettes of guests, whilst eating canapes.

Both Amy and James loved the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of Little Silver and the fact that so many of their guests could stay overnight at the hotel.

Their honeymoon was spend in Bermuda.

When I caught up with Amy and James at the post wedding viewing in my studio last week, I asked them what was the one piece of advice that they would give other couples planning a wedding? They both agreed that it would have to be don’t stress over the small details, as it will all workout perfectly on the day and enjoy every moment.

Here are a selection of images that Amy and James have selected to go into their folio album.
